Community.travel is a professional booking engine that, starting from the Italian trade, allows always more "Buyers" to directly work with the best DMCs in the world, by booking and sending inquires online. Community.travel offers a booking engine for multi-day tours that allows Italian and worldwide outgoing Tour Operators to book thousands of itineraries from the most accredited local experts around the globe. It is not a tour operator that sells services. Community.Travel is a Marketplace platform that facilitate the distribution of incoming services among travel trade actors, allowing to book online multi-destination and multi-supplier itineraries with direct payment to the service providers involved.
The local Providers insert their circuits, their guaranteed departures and eventually other travel services. Buyers send a request to those Providers they wish to cooperate with. The Provider decide whether to enable the online sales of his services inside the Community.Travel engines for each Buyer who requested the connection. Each Buyer therefore has at his disposal a personalized search engine, allowing him to search for services in all the destinations of his active connections with Providers.
The Buyer can see the products and search for the services of a specific Provider only after he has been connected by that DMC.Once the search has been carried out, one or more services can be immediately added to the cart and if confirmed the Providers involved can be paid directly, with the payment method indicated by each one of them, possibly also online by credit card if the Provider allows it. At any time, Buyers can send inquires for Individuals, Groups and MICE thanks to a special tool that will allow them to keep trace and manage their requests also inside their Community.Travel account. In case of reservations, a complete and detailed summary of the reserved services and of the payment status is available online and is sent to all the actors involved via e-mail. Valid vouchers are sent by e-mail and can be downloaded online, if the Provider uses vouchers.
